Dvp-ns975v & Gwiii???

Will the new Sony DVD player DVP-NS975V work with the GWIII DVI input? The new DVD player supports HDMI and I am concerned that it will not work with the GWIII DVI input which does not support HDMI.


Please advise.

if it has no dvi out put from the player then you will need a hdmi to dvi cable. hdmi is back ward compatable with dvi. so yes it will work if you have dvi input on your tv with the cable.

I was able to download the manual from Sony website. The manual clearly states that I will need a HDMI DVI converter for it to work.


I have an existing DVI cable is there a way to convert this to HDMI?

i belive there is a adapter but dont quote me on it, im sure if you look on the sites that sell cables you will find what you need or your local electronics store.
