DVR remote won't stop turning on av receiver

723 Views 1 Reply 2 Participants Last post by  mdavej
I have a pioneer vsx93txh av receiver, panasonic tv and a new comcast dvr, I can't get the receiver to stop turning on when pressing the "all on" button on the comcast remote. All I want is the tv and comcast dvr to come on. The remote just seems to turn it on no matter what you do. I have had comcast on the phone for an hour trying to fix. I have also got a brand new remote and it does the same.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

It's designed to work that way. HERE's a workaround (it's written for DVR power, but you can just substitute your receiver). Or you could get a JP1 cable and program the remote from your computer to do whatever you want.
