For about a year I've been using the negative sync output of my GeForce2MX videocard from my HTPC to sync to my Dwin. Unfortunately, that means the only output to my Dwin has been via WinDVD/PowerDVD and DScaler (no HDTV) through the computer. I'm finally ready to start using other video sources such as a high-def HD-DirecTV STB, for example.
In order to accomplish this, I need something that will take a standard positive sync video input and output a negative sync for the Dwin HD-700. Has anyone tried using an Inline IN2160 with their Dwin? The sales rep at Inline said the IN2160 *should* work. It's described here: http://www.inlineinc.com/products/intrface/2160.htm
The nice thing about the InLine is that I should be able to pick one up for about $350 or so. Is this a good deal? Seems like it as compared to an Extron SC 210 or Extron SS 200, which I think go for roughly $600-$800.
Thanks a bunch for any info.
