I am trying to decide between the DWIN TV3 and the Studio Experience 50HD.
I am eagerly awaiting the initial reports on the TV3, which sounds like it should be a great projector if it lives up to its hype. The 50HD, if it doesn't sacrifice picture quality for off axis placement, would eliminate the need to run the DVI cable and electrical power to the ceiling by placing it on top of a wall unit on the side of the room. The 3 year warranty is also a plus on the 50HD. Unfortunately, it has a very short maximum throw distance of 1.6x screen width. The MSRP is about the same for both.
Either way, picture quality is obviously the most important criteria. Is anyone on the forum planning a review of the 50HD anytime soon?
