After I installed 9.0a and Catalyst 3.2, I find there is micro-stutter (appear say every 10-15 min). I'm using ZP+Sonic filter at DXVA. Both WinXP Pro and Win2000 Pro have the same problem. Do you guys find the same bug?
Perhaps unrelated to the 9.0 catalyst 3.2 problem, but I had the same problem. It occurred when I had windows messenger installed. For some reason it was flooring the system to 100% utilization about every 10 minutes or so. I used an unregister process to remove messenger entirely (since it doesnt want to die easily) and the stutter went away. Check to make sure this or another process isnt your problem...I have 9.0a and catalyst 3.2 running on several systems without a stuttering problem. The way I determined messenger was the problem was to run the windows xp performance profiler, logging cpu utilization and adding each task's cpu use to the logging. When I spiked to 100%, I checked process utilization and msn messenger was the gobbler. *blam* problem solved.
