I get a picture on my XG 110, but no test patterns. I swapped the system PWB board and it works good. I was told this was a problem with the E-prom chip. Where can I get another board or chip or can this be reprogrammed? Also should I try swapping chips to see which one it is, which one should I check first.

Thanks, Deron.

Deron,

Not to state the obvious, but have you first tried pulling any chip in a socket and re-seating it? Sometimes you get lucky before swapping parts.

I will try that.

Thanks, Deron.

Doug, do these units remember that? I was under the impression that the OSD usually defaults back to on. Am I nuts?

Thank you.

You hit it on the nose, fixed the problem, I'm back in operation.

Well, that proves that the CPU remembers the last OSD state. Good to know.
