I connecting my HTPC to my HDTV via HDMI (lot of initials there...) using the Asus EAH3450. I'm using Cyberlink to play movies from my blu-ray drive.


I can get a picture on my HDTV but I can't watch movies, particularly blu-ray.


Cloning the desktop won't play the movie so I set up Extended Desktop, with the movie playing in a window on the PC monitor and Fullscreen on my HDTV, which is the secondary display. However, the Extended desktop only shows the background of my PC and the movie plays on the PC window.


How can I get a movie to play on the HDTV?

By the way, I'm using the latest driver for the graphics card, but when I go to the BDROM section of Cyberlink BD Edition, the options for Dual Screen are greyed out.


Is this a conflict between Cyberlink and the card?

Should be simple, you just neeed to drag the power dvd window to the extended display, then play. It should then stick to the extended display for playback rather than the primary one
