I have an older Toshiba G5 LCD which I have been very content to live with til the next great thing comes along. However, the greatest drawback is dust on the panels. On this model, besides popping the hood, you have to remove a board to get to the RGB separate panels. Cleaning only lasts for a few weeks. I then live with the gradual buildup until I can't stand it no more and repeat. Besides all of the other technical factors, is any of the newer LCD pj's relatively easy to clean or, dare I hope, aside from $15k optically sealed units, relatively dust free?

My Sony 10HT, which many say is prone to dust is easy to clean. I clean it about every 300 hours or so. Here's a link to how the process is done. It takes about 15 or 20 minutes and is really very easy.
