Hello y'all,
Okay, I'm going to feel pretty dumb asking this one, but it's the morning, I haven't had coffee, etc etc.
After re-doing all the audio at home, I am left with two very nice upright sony speakers (you know, the big old bookshelf speakers, 2-3 feet tall wooden, 9 oams, 270 w)
What I would like to do is hook up my turntable to these speakers. This doesn't have to be a nice hookup, the turntable and records are old, this is more for fun than quality.
So I need a receiver. But I don't want to plop down $100 for this. I'm looking for any good ideas. A receiver substitute of some type? Any clever ideas would be helpful. Thank you.
