Easy way to compile IR codes for my devices?

1287 Views 0 Replies 1 Participant Last post by  Snorton
I have several devices that I would like to control with a single remote.

I have a Palm Z31 and a Harmony 880 remote. Unfortunately, the supplied IR codes and interfaces aren't exactly reliable, so I'd like to generate proper IR code databases in the Palm. I'd learn the IR codes from my remotes AND enter HEX codes for the commands that are not present on my remotes.

Once I've got the proper IR codes for all my devices, I'd use the Palm to generate the IR codes to learn on the Harmony.

What I want to know is if there is any Palm software that will let me build this database of codes, and send them to my Harmony.

I've seen Omniremote and Novii, but they have "user interfaces" to which they want to learn some buttons, but won't generate a full database without a lot of work on my part.

Any ideas?
