Pretty expensive: at the current exchange rate: $4782.00

Fujitsu Ten might not be a name you've heard of before but watch this space.

The Company has just launched its new TD 512 nearfields and has already started to gain some very prestigious users, including Brian Eno, no less.

Priced at a hefty £2,600, the maker claims that the Eclipse TD 512 is a truly transparent

loudspeaker: 'that allows the listener to monitor signals with unprecedented clarity, free of resonances, colourations or time and phase distortion effects'. They go on to say 'The organic precepts embodied in the design... result not only in a highly accurate signal reproduction, that is "fast" and exceptionally detailed, but also in unconventionally beautiful aesthetics.' I guess that about gets it said.

They had their smaller monitors with the sub at MacWorld , in one of the smaller booths. DrBott said they had an agreement to import them, but, haven't heard anything since.

They sounded pretty good (as one can expect in a loud exibit hall), they mentioned a list price of around $500, for the speakers, plus amp.

Have read several reviews of their pro monitors, the 512 and 508s, and my interest is certainly piqued, but, well we ever see them in the US??
