Hi,

Being rather new to this hardware, I thought I'd attempt tapping into the collective expertise of this forum. I appreciate your indugence of my questions.

I'm seeing a slight problem with the image on my projector. There appears to be some form of phase noise on the horizontal sync. It's most noticeable on vertical lines in the image, where a "swimminess" can be seen. I'm currently running this projector from an old nvidia geforce 200mx card, using powerstrip to establish a 1440x810 pixel desktop, vertical rate 63 Hz, horizontal rate 58.3 kHz. I see none of this swimminess when I swap in my desktop monitor, so I believe that it's in the projector someplace. At times I seem to be able to detect some periodic component to this noise, but I wouldn't swear to it. This problem is not noticeable when running a low-band VGA signal (640x480, 31.5kHz).

Is anyone seen a problem like this on the ECP? If so, has a cause been demonstrated?

Thanks,

-Dan
