ECP, what's wrong with these tubes? Pics.

Here is a picture of the ECP I "may" be buying. The seller says he knows nothing about it but has been very helpfull, willing to remove the lenses to take pics of the tubes... Here is a pic of the tubes with the projector on. I've never seen those lines before... What do you guys think? He sent me a few pics and all of them show the same lines... Instead of the tubes showing solid colors,, you see blue white blue, red white red,, green white green.

Perhaps, it's caused by the camera?

It's just the camera.


R G or B tube can't make white by itself.


Look at the reflection in the lens tray below the tubes... nice solid colors.

Thanks again Clarence, for all of your input. I'm taking a chance buying this but the price is very cheap. $170 plus $58 shipping. I'm going for it.

Shoot! I was going to say that the PJ wasn't sync'd up to a source and the camera caught the video output in the middle of a "flip." I should have read your whole post.


GO FOR IT....That's a great deal.
