I've seen other posts on this topic, However mine may be slightly different.

I have Onix Rocket RSS750, Rear ported.


I want to build a box within the wall which the 750s will be partially in, or in front of to save space but supply the 2' placement from a wall.


I know with a home theater setup you want your your front wall as dead as possible along with the first 3' of the side walls. I would make these box dead as well with OC or rockwool.


So will this idea have ill effects on the speakers sound?
