I had the builder of my new house run a couple RG6QS cables to where the sub is going to set. There is a 110V AC line running parallel to them in the wall at about 8-10" away for a distance of about 5 or 6 feet. Should I be concerned about EFI? Is there a recommended seperation distance between 110V AC and line level sub wires?

The drywall is going up soon, so input is much appreciated. I've already had them move it once, and I'd prefer not to do it again if I can get away with it.

Thanks,

Jeff

I have my sub cable running right along side the power cord with no noticeable noise or hum. And my cable is not QS. Just make sure the shield is terminated at both ends. This is not to say you can't experience a ground loop problem. Have your electrician make sure the neutral in the subs outlet and the AVR outlet both tie back to the buss in you breaker box.
