Here is an irritating message that flashes momentarily when I do a Direct Navigator on the HDD, when I leave Direct Navigator, and when I do many other little chores:
"Format Disc (DVD)
Formatting failed".
It started when I had a -RW that failed to format. I have since formatted some -RW and -RAM with no problem. A repeated attempt on the failed disc failed again. But since then, I've had successes on other discs.
Everything seems to work ok, copying, playlists, copylists, editting the playlists, names on the titles, playlists, and dvd's all work fine. Just that irritating message just keeps flashing up on many of the button pushes.
I've tried the SETUP Reset to the Default, no change.
Any solution or ideas?
