Can someone tell me where the software chip for an Ehome 8000 resides?(which board). I am looking on page 25 of the manual and see U35 which could be it, and I am not sure, but it doesn't say which board it is on and I really don't want to be pulling stuff out looking for it.

So can anyone tell me its code (U35?), the board name, and its physical location?

Also the same for U7?

Thanks in advance!

Got your PM. I believe the software version is on the video controller board. Thisd is a very very expensive little board thart has your rs232 connectors, diagnostic and power and stanby light.

FYI. My "parts" 8000 is missing thisd board

If anyone has an extra board let me know.

Guys!

The missing board is not meant for 8000s or 8110s, the slot is intended for a stigmator waveform generator which was used on the 9000, 8500 and 9500. The 8000 and 8110 correct stig with magnet rings on the tube neck, the other models use active zone stig correction with an alignment routine found in the service menu.
