Hi,


I have some questions according Z-Wave thermostats, we haven´t used any Z-Wave products in our installations so far. Now I have two products I want to test with ELAN g!

Room Thermostats.

Horstmann HRT4 ASR-ZW

Secure HRT4-ZW


I need some kind of Z-Wave to RS232 adapter between ELAN g! and Horstmann / Secure products. In the g! configurator I have a product from Wayne Dalton WDTC-20 (Z-Wave - RS232 adaptor). Can I use that? Is Z-Wave a standard protocol?

Hi,

Sorry to say but I didn´t get any answers according the Z-Wave - RS 232 issue.


The solution in our case was to not integrate the thermostats into the g! programming for this installation.

I do not use z-wave, so I do not know your answer. However, you might try looking it up in the CL or call tech. They might tell you to try it and see.
