I am moving the electrical dryer outlet in my laundry room, and I'm wondering if there is a code for how far it has to be away from any natural gas lines/pipes. It seems like there should be a guideline for this, but I've been unable to even find that one exists.


The line going to the dryer will be enclosed in EMT conduit if that matters.

I have a gas dryer, but all the switches, drum, etc. all operate electrically so I don't see a problem with how close they are.
