Just received my Stewart Screenwall 4-way Electrimask and am about to hook up the motors to the Somfy Multi Channel Infrared Control. However, I am confused by the schematics and figured I better ask for some help here before I blow up the house.
My question is how do I hook the MCIR to 120VAC?
I have the Common, UP and Down wires connected to the motor. I plan to connect the hot wire to a 3 prong 120 VAC power adapter from home depot.
Looking at the schematic, it seems I need to connect ground at the MCIR to ground at the motor. Then I need to connect the ground wire of the 120VAC plug at the same spot that the motor and MCIR connect.
Looking at the same schematic, it seems I need to connect common at the MCIR to common at the motor. Then I need to connect the common wire of the 120VAC plug at the same spot that the motor and MCIR connect.
Is this right or am I going to burn the house down?
