Question: Does an Electrohme ECP 2100 work with a remote and if so what kind?

I have three that were formerly golf simulators with 486 computer inputs, however no other controls or remote. I would like to know what to look for (e-bay or shop otherwise) so a technician can help convert to a usuble video and data projector.

Unless that PJ has been upgraded to the high frequency band, any low freq ECP remote will work. Look at the cylindrical casing of the IR sensor, located down by the corner of the lens foam, for a yellow band around the silver casing. This would indicate a high freq sensor, otherwise it's a low freq one. If the sensor is completely missing, then you'll need a sensor and a remote, and it would be best to get a high freq one. Another option is to beg, borrow, steal a pronto remote, go to remotecentral.com, and download the ECP codes. There's both high and low freq available.
