The Elite rebate is over 9/30/03. I'm ready to pull the trigger to replace a Toshiba hd 4x3. I have tried to like lcds, dlps, haven't seen a lcos yet. IMO, nothing beats the Elite for pure viewing satisfaction. Question is, would current Elite owners, given the chance, replace it with another technology? Please help me out here. Thanks, John.

I haven't played with the dlps yet, but I have an Elite 530 and would not have any other set. I absolutely love my Elite and based on this one would buy another in a heart beat. I would check out the Elite Plasmas but I think they are still too expensive at this point, at least for me.

Actually, looking at One Call's web site, Pioneer is also including and extending the rebate to the newer models. Call your local dealer to confirm.

purchased mine about 6 weeks ago and love it. checked out dlp alot it was my first choice because of size, but didn't like the picture. tv is great with dvd, hd and better than anything i've seen with sd, and i watch the 64" from 10 feet with no problem. getting it isf'd tomorrow but i don't think it can get much better. i'm sure you'll be satisfied with your decision. aloha keith
