I am looking at an Elite motorized 16:9 100" screen. Is Elite a reliable company? I'm worried because the screen is only going to cost about $175 which is very inexpensive. Also, does it have the ability to have speakers behind it? I want to make it feel like a theater when the screen is down but I did not know if sound is able to travel through it. Also, does the screen allow for good 3D viewing?

It would have to be an AT (acoustically transparent) screen in order to place speakers behind it. Elite sells a great variety of screens. You can search this forum for more detail.

I have an Elite 100" electric screen for a few years now, no complaints.. is there anyway to raise the screen 1/2"? or does the screen have a fixed drop.. I need about that much for my new sub to fit under the screen..thanks in advance
