Is there any reason that a Brio 3 wouldn't be a good choice to drive a set of AV123 ELT525 Mini Monitors? it may be a bit of a moot point since both things are on their way. But I suppose I could always sell and choose different gear (got good deals on the stuff used).


The room is about 12'x12' and the source will be a Rega P1 turntable.

Don't see why not! If anything it might be overkill for the ELT525Ms, but I don't think there are any negatives of that!

The ELTs like power and lots of it. I have two pairs of monitors and think they're great.

That's what I had gathered, but being new to this stuff, I didn't think that the 49WPC that the Brio3 put out was "lots". Hopefully it will suffice for a starter system.
