Hey everyone I am going to sell my 6 Jamo E660's Towers and S60 center to my friend and upgrade my speakers. The Jamo's sound good and have always pleased me, but since adding a Emotiva XPA5 a few months ago the amp doesn't really get pushed to it's full pontential due to the Jamo's lack of handling power.
I decided to look into the Klipsch line and go with there RF 83 Towers. According to the specs they will be able to handle the XPA 5 with no issues. They also go to 100 DB's and have a pretty impressive Freq range.
I went on Emotiva's site to check there currently Holiday deals and for the first time looked into their ERT 8.3 towers. They look pretty nice. They don't appear to dip as low in Freq, and the DB rating is about 8 lower than the Klipsch's, but I'm not sure if that's a issue? Also I believe the Emotiva's are 4ohm where has the Klipsch's are 8ohm
What would be a better speaker to go with?
