Emotiva may have made its name in the AV industry with its high bang for the buck amplifiers, but the company has also drawn accolades for its speakers. Now, the company has significantly expanded its Airmotiv speaker lineup. The new models include a variety of passive speakers, a soundbar, and two new subwoofers. I expect to audition this collection of low priced, high-performance loudspeakers at CES 2016.

All of the new Airmotiv speaker models feature "modern elegant black faceted baffles" with critically MDF cabinets and magnetic grills. All of the new Airmotiv speakers utilize Airmotiv folden-ribbon tweeters.

The new models include the Airmotiv T1 tower ($350 each), which uses a three-way ported design, has twin 6.5" Kevlar woofers, one 5.25" Kevlar mid-woofer, and a 25mm x 32mm folded-ribbon tweeter. The T1 accepts removable spikes, and features speaker terminals that accomodate bi-amping or bi-wiring.
