I saw this new TV at Fry's. The OTA HDTV was horrible when comparing with all other TVs that were showing with OTA HDTV. I don't expect it will be better with other video inputs.


It is on sale this weekend with a very nice price tag. But for this crappy image quality, I would save my money to wait for other good deal.

I have been looking at this LCD and did not notice a bad OTA HDTV presentation. Maybe I don't know what to look for. What store did you observe this and what didn't you like about the picture? Could it have been a bad cable connection? Frys is one of the worst places to see what any TV will be like in operation and their salesman have little knowledge of what they are selling. I guess you need to buy it, try it, then take it back if it doesn't do what you want. Maybe that is what you did. But $$$ is still a pretty good price for a 37" set.
