Will enabling HMC in WinDVD 3 use the Radeon's adaptive de-interlacing instead of the bob/weave method? Or do you need to use the ATI player to get that feature?
Does WinDVD use a form of adaptive de-interlacing, or is it a forced bob or weave method (one or the other, per frame)? I'm also assuming that the WinDVD/PowerDVD/ATI players only use these de-interlacing methods when the flags are set incorrectly on a DVD? Don't most of them first try and read the flags (if set correctly) to de-interlace the image?
Thanks!
