As I wrote yesterday in another thread, I recently built an HTPC using Windows 7 RC. As you all know, Windows Media Center does not natively support subtitles for downloaded videos. When I had XP Media Center Edition, I used ffdshow to enable this functionality. However, ffdshow does not seem to be supported in Windows 7. Is there an alternative method to enable subtitles in Media Center? A Google search revealed that ffdshow can be made to work in Windows 7, but the process seemed rather complicated. I never used ffdshow for upscaling or post-processing, so if there is an easier way to just add subtitle support, I'd prefer it.
