Does anyone has good recommandation on a pair of the speaker stands for Energy CB-20 bookshelf speakers? My couch is about 40 in tall, so the total length of the stand and speaker has to at least clear 40 in, if not more.

Thanks in advance.

These are 32" stands which with the speaker on top should be enough to clear your couch. They can also be filled with lead shot or sand to make them heavier & sturdier.

These Sanus stands are less expensive but are not lead shot/sand fillable.

Pangea also makes a 36" which should definitely do the trick.

Thank you afrogt for the input. I was looking at the same 36" Pangea stands a while ago. I am just a little hesitant to make the purchase based on just reading the descrption from Amazon. I wanted to get more information from the AVS forum before I pull the trigger.
