Energy esw-m8, energy esw-v8, or Velodyne deq-10r which is a better sub?

I'm want to purchase a new subwoofer, I currentley have a Polk Audio psw12 it only has 100 watts rms and peaks at 250 watts. I'm using it in my family room which is 18ft x 13ft with cathedral ceilings. I have a Sony ES 5300 7.1 receiver with a older Polk Audio RM series speakers which i also will be replacing. I want something that has more power, and looks good. That is why i'm looking at the Energy line of subs, I like the high gloss look. My budget is $400 i may stretch that a little. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
