I have read through reviews and have found that the Energy V8 is better for music rather than the BIC H100. I am using my system for 50% music and 50% movies. I would like a subwoofer that would work with both of them. I have a deal with the Energy V8 on Craigslist for the same price as a BIC H100. I am looking to spend nothing more than $300 (both are around $200 for me).


Do you guys know which one I should choose? Or are there any other subs in my price range and criteria that would be better?


Room size: 20'x15', Apartment

A/V Receiver: Denon V590

Speakers: POLK Audio Rti 4 (so far...)
