There are three versions of the Energy "take 5" speakers:
the original "Take 5" came out around '97 and combined a Take 1 center with Take 2 satellite speakers. They were available in black or white, and you can recognize them because they have a boxy shape and the drivers are black:
the follow-up set was the "Take 5.2" which updated the original Take 5 in around 2002. The center is called "Take 1.2" and the satellites are "Take 2.2", keeping with the "point two" theme. I believe the Take 5.2 was available in black, white, or a light maple wood finish. They can be recognized by their more rounded cabinets, front-vent (under the woofer), exposed aluminum dome tweeter, and white woofer cones with black rubber surrounds:
The current incarnation is the "Take Classic", which is only available in gloss black AFAIK. They returned to a boxier shape and can be recognized by the "convergent source module" design with the woofer & tweeter seemingly joined as one unit:
All of them are fairly similar in terms of performance.
