I've had my Entre for about a month now and since then I've only bought a few new dvd titles. When I say new titles, I'm referring to new releases (i.e. Behind Enemy Lines, Spy Game, etc.). Of course I'm always picking up older movies and "must haves" along the way and find that OpenGlobe's database does pretty well with the older titles (I currently have 104 discs loaded with only 4 it couldn't find), but does not do well with new releases. For example, since it's release last Tuesday, the Entre still does not recoginze "Behind Enemy Lines." Does anyone else have this problem/find this really annoying? I'm not sure how often (or how) OpenGlobe updates their databases and I can't seem to get anyone to return an email over there, but I'd really like to see the ability to edit MY DVD collection through the Media Manager software (including being able to add cover art) since that link from Kenwood about missing DVD titles is a joke! Anyone else have issues like this?

Interesting...I just did my weekly check of my 7 or 8 unknown DVDs to see if they've shown up in the DB, and three of them I've had since late last year just showed up. The new DVDs I've bought over the past two weeks, though, still aren't in there.

Some of you Entre old-timers may want to retry some of your old 'Unknown DVDs'

I noticed the same thing the other day! The Entre finally found 3 titles that had been "Unknown" previously including:

Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery

The Patriot: Special Edition (Mel Gibson)

Ghostbuster: Collector's Edition

Here's an interesting note I got back from OpenGlobe about their DVD database

"Thank you for your input. We are very pleased to have you as a customer. We generally get a new DVD into the database within two weeks [get them within days of release, data entered in a few days after that...]. As for matches on similar titles, we know what may be causing this and are assessing ways to reduce or eliminate the issue. Typically, this is not an issue of the title not being in the database. I apologize that we did not get back to you the day that you wrote the note to us, but we wanted to provide the most accurate answer possible before replying.

Enjoy!"

So...looks like 2 weeks is the magic number for new releases.
