Kaine told me that it's possible that the input lag will be around '24 ms like the TW9400', however he didn't test it, I think it's only assumption based on the hardware. My sony HW55-ES as 22ms and this is enough for me to play every kind of game, so I hope this will be true, we will see when it will be reviewed

Yeah, I'm in a similar position, using an old BenQ 1080ST with roughly 25ms, so if it's near the 30ms range, that's workable. :) Well, unless I just get used to going round corners and dying more often out of nowhere :)

The price seems to be the price with a 100" or 120" included, and the screen seems overpriced. This projector is already sold on Epson France website and the official price is 3.024,20 Euro in most other European country the price is 2999 Euro. The price of electronics products in France is always higher than in USA so I think the price in USA without screen will be 2999 Dollars or less. You can then buy it and buy a cheaper screen or reuse one if you have one.

Sorry but according to this new video
it seems the projector is only sold with a screen in USA, that's strange that the projector is sold in Europe first and without a screen and later in USA and only in bundle.

But on the different video we see that it seems that the projector need a long distance from the wall for an UST :( The documentation is available in the russian epson website and using google translate, it seems that it need 76cm from the back for a 100" screen, I hope a get wrong because that's a lot.

Wow, that is a long way back from the screen surface, for sure. I thought I had read somewhere that the throw ratio was 0.29, but can't find that information, now?

Edit: I think I found the information - this seems to have a zoom feature:

Projection Ratio
0.27 - 0.37:1
Zoom
Digital, Factor: 1 - 1.35

That ratio is still not spectacular, at all :(

I'm going to very disappointed and surprised if they only sell it as a package deal.

What a bummer.

I'm pretty sure it isn't not HDMI 2.1.

I'd be very surprised if it needed to be that far back and even if it did, I wonder if that figure includes the dept the unit as well, so in reality, it might be less than suspected.
