Hey all... Sorry about this, I know I posted the questions for the VPLCX4, but this causght my eye, and for the price of $2000(USD) with only 400 hours on it... Hmmmm...
What are these like for home thetre? They advertise a 400:1 contrast raio and multiple aspect ratios (including 16:9), 1000 lumens, and low-fade lamp (80% brightness at 1000 hours) as well as low noise (less than 40 db) and XGA resolution... Only thing missing is a component video input (grrr...).
With independent colour (R,G,B) adjustment as well as contrast, brightness, sharpness etc. Looks a little more promising than the Sony.
Anyone have anything bad to say about these?
