I'm planning to purchase ATI 9600 video card for HTPC. And I'm wondering if there are equivalent NVidia video cards. Equivalent as in pq, specification and price range.

My main purpose in using this kind of card is for movie watching in the projector thru DVI.


Any input regarding equivalent 9600 card will be greatly appreciated.

The FX 5700 or possibly FX 5900XT, also the Geforce 6600 would probably be in that range. From what I've read, the FXs should at least equal the 9600 and the 6600 should easilly beat it PQ wise.
