I've been reading alot lately about HTPC and yesterday I went ahead and connected my CRT to my new HTPC all went fine for an hour or so.

I did some fine tuning and got the picture right where I wanted it, then down goes the pj.

It gave me the error code 08 on the little display located under the cover on the side of the pj.

As I understand I might have "overloaded" the tubes and the pj is shutting itself down as a precautionary measure, at least thats what I hope.

Can someone help me with this, is it a hw error or do I to restet the pj (how do I do that).

Any help would be much appriciated.

I got a lot of hints searching this forum but need some more spot on advice at what could be wrong.

It's nearing winter here in sweden, that means looong dark pj friendly periods so I realy need my pj working to get me throu the long dark cold winter. ;)

Many thanks in advance. :)

I think that code is when you overscan the tubes horizontally.

(You should DL the manual and check it though.)

You could turn off all sources and try unplugging the pj for about 10 minutes and then try starting it again. I think it will come up without the code.
