I've used reVue without issue in the past on other laptops. After several months, I finally got around to installing it on my current laptop. However, when I try to open a replay file, reVue give me an "InvalidActiveXStateException" error.


Any clues?


Incidentally, I'm running XP Pro, WMP 9, and I have .NET 1.1 Framework installed.

What happens when you run dxdiag.exe on that laptop computer?

dxdiag.exe runs without issue. Is there something specific I should note from its output?

Did all of the dxdiag tests pass?


An ActiveX error could indicate that the overlay device is not working or the drivers aren't working. If all the tests pass, then that would not be the alley to finding the problem.


Does the Windows Media Player work on that computer?
