I have my new 3060 and software 3.0. I had set up the Replay to record Freaky Links tonight (Friday) on Fox channel 10 at 8:00pm by using the channel guide and specifically choosing that time and date. Replay chose to record Freaky Links on channel 999 at 7:00pm and this is a channel that I don't get so it recorded an hour of Black screen. The channel was even deleted from my channel guide.

I don't think It should record this way how can I avoid this in the future? Do I have to go into the record options every time I record something and check the specific date? Even then it doesn't give an option for selecting only that channel and time. Was this just a glitch or will it be doing this regularly?

I am positive that the channel was x'd out. In fact I had to go back and un check it to go into the channel guide and see that Freaky Links was on that channel at the time it recorded.

I have seen a situation in 3.0 that goes like this:

I have something set to record, say, ER at 10:00pm off my DirecTV KNBC channel 383.

At *some* point, my ReplayChannel gets switched to record the same ER off KNBC channel 4, which is on my local cable feed. Whatever triggers this, it affects all my recordings setup where the same network is available in more than one place. My feeling is that this happens if I go into the Setup area somewhere...

I can see the change happened while browsing the ReplayGuide. But if it says that it will record channel 383, it always does.

I wouldn't care so much if when it recorded a channel I didn't specify it would at least make it a non guaranteed recording while keeping my corect recording guaranteed.
