In the above thread, Mike99 found a bug in the ES-20. My guess it is also in the ES-15 and would appreciate it if someone would try to duplicate it in the 15. The problem exists if you record several weekly or daily scheduled programs on the same day. The programs recorded earlier are added to the days total available space and will cut out later recordings even if there is plenty of disk space.

It is easy to test. Enter several weekly scheduled programs for today that start prior to the actual time. (To enter a weekly or daily schedule, in the schedule programs window, for the "day" push the bottom button to go to an earlier day and you will cycle to the weekly and daily section of the day settings.) Then enter several weekly scheduled programs for after the current time. Use either LP or SP. In either case, program them for a full disk before and a full disk after, so 2 hrs SP or 4 LP before and the same after. If you start with a formatted disk, you would think you can record the later programs since they are the only ones coming up.

If the problem is also on the 15, you should see the two early programs with -->5/10 (today's date) and the two later programs with ! showing that there is no time left to record. The early programs will also appear at the bottom of the list of scheduled programs.

However, the disk info will say that there is 2 hours SP or 4 hours LP available. The same will appear on the front display of the recorder.

The problem is the ES-20 is programmed to use all the days recording time, even that which has passed, in determining if it can record a program. This test is to see if the ES-15 has the same problem.
