Escient Powerplay modifications,upgrades

Hi,I own an Escient Powerplay and I am happy with it but I was wondering if are there any other owners on this forum of this products and whether or not has anybody done any modifications to his unit.

I read somewhere long time ago that the chip and memory can be upgraded or even the DVD software with powerdvd and other modifications.

For starters,I would like to upgrade the processor if possible to speed things up and if possible the upgrade the software to progressive scan.

Any thoughts?
