Keep in mind that I want to buy the damn thing in the UK, so I can get it serviced and repaired if it doesn't work.... ;)

I don't seem to be able to find any of the obvious models that are available in the US....

As I want to connect it to my HTPC, so DVI would be preferred...

Don't think you'll have any luck, as there is no British HDTV standard you are looking to buy a device built to the standard of another country. No SCART. Tuners use a different modulation. Perhaps you would do better looking at the Australian models... their HDTV standard is closer to your DVB-T. You'd still have the issues of getting a foreign device serviced. Perhaps seeking a HTPC monitor (big, wide, PC monitor) will be easier. I think there is a Turkish company working on a Euro version of a DLP RPTV (Vestal?) but no idea of the status of that project.

You gotta love living in Europe... :(:(:(:(:(

I am better off buying another DLP PJ for that kinda money... a Panasonic Plasma 42 inches costs 3500£ (5200USD). It is just way too expensive + the burn in issue IMHO.
