I had an idea about doing the same thing with an EVC plug on one end. As I'm no engineer could someone explain if this could be possible and if so a basic outline of how it would be done? It's to be used with my Davi DL450 clone.

I've read previous post about using the EVC-VGA adapter but thought this might be easier and a bit lighter on the wallet. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

You could do this for the EVC plug as well. I have posted the pin-outs and EVC-VGA mappings at various times. Look for posting by 'gireesh'. 'clopez' may know where to buy the EVC male plug that you will need at the projector end.
