It's time for me to make a decision.. Anybody have any experience with either of these two models? I know the W5150 has BE3 and EX500 has BE2. Contrast ratio has not been listed for the EX500 as of now (??). W5150 has internet capabilities (which is NOT important for me). Do you think its worth it to go for the Bravia Engine 3 or would you go for the new 2010 mid-level model? Price is about the same so that's not a factor. HELP ME PLEASE! Thanks in advance.

The W also has a nicer, thin bezel compared to the EX. The EX bezel is thick like the V series was. I haven't seen anything so far from released information that would lead me to think the EX500 is better than the W.

Yeah I haven't seen any information that makes the ex500 look like a better buy.. but then again.. I haven't seen any contrast ratio numbers for the EX500 and haven't read any reviews concerning input lag either. I found the W5150 for $1050 shipped.. Seems like a good deal although I'm tempted to see if any new deals get posted tomorrow, although I might miss my shot at the W5150 at that price, =\\


Any other input from anyone??

Oh.. and FYI.. I'm talking about the 46" models. =) I wish I could find the 52" at the same price.. Now THAT would be a deal-breaker, haha.

I have had the 46EX500 for a few days now and I like it a lot. I still prefer my 65V10, but I am impressed with this Sony.
