A local store going out of business has the Mitsu PD5010 at significantly lower than the 50" panny and pioneer I've been eyeing. Does anyone have any experience with this plasma? Likes or dislikes?


Also, I noticed that the contract ratio (1000:1) is signifcantly less than the other models I'm considering.


Any guidance would be appriciated!!

If you are still monitoring, I have the pd5010. It is an awesome plasma. Do not be fouled by high contrast ratios. It can make a difference, but, the pd5010 works beautifully well. I also have a Panasonic 42" display with a higher contrast ratio. It does not even come close to measuring up to the mitsu.
