I bought an Expressvu satellite kit and since I have it, I noticed that the image quality is very bad but still better then my old cable signal.

There is something that I see and I have no vocabulary for it. Whenever I see bright colors on TV like a woman's news anchor jacket, it seems like the countour or the red color seems to be sliced of horizontal bars. Making it impossible to see a perfect countour. I don't think theses are dot crawl. Any ideas?

Also when ever I see other spots of bright orange/redish tint on backgrounds they seem to have an overflow that looks like a fire coming from the color itself.

I tried reducing color and it still does it. I watch both cable and satellite at once and the cable signal didn't show it. Checked all my rca cables (no svhs) and they run fine. Called at last Expressvu technicians and they tell me to hook up the power cord of my receiver to the wall outlet not a powerbar. I did so but it still does the same thing.

Does those phenomenon ring a bell to you?

Thank you
