Anyone got an exterior door that is in their home theater? I know its not optimal for obvious reasons, but I was wondering what pitfalls I would have incorporating the door into the room. How much light leaks into/enters the room around the door?

It gives me an additional 3 feet of width and it doesnt cause me to erect a little hallway that would only be 3 feet wide and have a TIGHT turning radius.

I have a multi room but it has a double metal door with 1/2 glass. One side is fixed and one opens in. It sits at the back left corner of the HT area and is at a 45 degree angle.

Right now I have two plastic bags hanging in front of the windows held in place with magnets. Light is not a problem. I could double up the bags and totally block the light.

I plan on building some accoustial panels that will totally block the windows and mount them on the doors.
