hi i have recently bought a external hard drive a hub and a wireless router,

i have two laptops and everything works fine i have security on it.


but..........


is there any possible way of connecting both laptops the the hard drive at the same, because if i want to use it on one of the laptops i have to disconnect from the another laptop and connect again on the other, also it takes about 10 mins for the hard drive to appear in "my computer".


so........ in brief can i connect it to both laptops and stop it taking 10mins to connect ????

You should be able to connect it to one of the machines, right click on the drive, "share" the drive, then see it from the other machine across your LAN.
