External hardrive & Vista media center

Hi everyone, I just bought a 1 tb external hd and is hooked up to my htpc via usb. I already backed up all my video, movies, music , and picture files to it. Now my question is (before I delete all my files in my internal c:drive) how can I view all my movies, pictures and video files in vista media center from my external hard drive? And would "my movies" plug in work the same way showing the covers etc.? The reason for doing this is obviously to clear my hardrive space in drive :c. so my computer doesn't slow down being full.

in VMC, you can add a drive letter to the library.
Thanks for the response, I'll try that.

Will USB be fast enough for OTA HD and QAM HD ? Or is it necessary to use firewire or eSata with the external drives ?

The reason I ask is that I also purchased an external USB 1 TB drive (Seagate) over the holidays, but I have yet to hook it up. A friend of mine said that USB might not be fast enough....

TIA,

I have 1 500G and 1 750G WD Mybook external hard drives. Both are fast enough for HD video via usb 2.0.

Could you share with me the "my movies" plug in? is this a VMC plug in?
Yeah I love using my movies plug in for vista media center, it allows me to copy all my movies to hardrive and organizes them with full front and back covers. Excellent. http:// www.mymovies.dk/
